City of Armagh RFC was delighted on Saturday to welcome 27 members of the Davidson family to a special pre-match lunch presentation. In memory of Billy (Min) Davidson, past President, Jim Irwin commissioned a painting by local artist Billy Austin which will take pride of place in our clubhouse. Min was a Past President and club stalwart who sadly passed away in September 2018. His wife Jean, daughters, Gillian, Sharon and Elaine plus grand children, were all in attendance for the presentation. Gillian spoke eloquently about her father’s time, dedication and commitment, given to Armagh Rugby Club, first as a player and then as a volunteer for many decades. A big thank you to Jim Irwin for making all the arrangements for the special event and to the Davidson family for attending.
