Armaghu18 v Enniskillen Match Report 07-10-2017

8 Oct 2017 by City of Armagh Rugby Club

Armagh 61 – 0 Enniskillen Armagh started well receiving the kick off and from the start they moved the ball wide with good passing shea obrien cut through the enniskillen defence and gave Adam McGowan a pass to put him in the corner for his first try.Shea OBrien missed the conversion.Armagh received the ball from the restart and once again armagh carried the ball going through the phases and again putting Enniskillen defence
under serious pressure with Shea OBrien crossing the line for armaghs second try he also kicked the conversion.More tries followed from Armaghs Backs Adam McGowan 2 tries Shea OBrien 4 tries he had to leave the field with a dead leg after being tackled by a Enniskillen back and the goal post i think the goal post did the damage other tries followed from Robbie Maher 3 tries Sam Mcelland 1 try William Hazelton1 try Arran Whyte 1try Nathan Rogers conversion. Finner and chappy were more than happy with the way the armagh forwards and backs played in the first half moving the ball well and support play was much better from last week .the second half was a different tale a bit of white line fever and complacency set in.there is plenty of talent in this u-18 side and if finner and chappy can gel these guys together this could be another good side for Armagh rugby club.
